Dr Clarke is committed to delivering care that is closely aligned with each patient’s individual values, goals and preferences. His practice philosophy emphasises thoughtful, comprehensive clinical attention, clear and compassionate communication and a collaborative model of shared decision‑making.
He has a strong interest in integrative medicine that incorporates evidence‑informed natural therapies, when appropriate, to support patient wellbeing.
Dr Robert Clarke completed his primary medical training at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where he went on to work across both hospital and private general practice settings. He brings broad clinical experience, including a decade in emergency departments as well as running his own general practice.
After relocating to Australia in 2013, Dr Clarke initially continued his work in emergency medicine before undertaking further training in general practice. He subsequently achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Outside of medicine, he enjoys a hands-on, self-sufficient lifestyle, with interests that include small-scale farming, beekeeping, raising chickens, fish farming, and growing his own vegetables.
