Gentle Yoga

This class is held in a slower pace & focusses on stretching all areas of the body while releasing stress & tension from joints & muscles. It is suited to anyone who is either new to yoga or who wants a nice workout for body & mind without pushing it too far. We focus on foundational yoga postures & conclude with a well deserved deep relaxation & short meditation. View class times.

Yoga – All Levels

This is an open level yoga class which is flowing, dynamic & at times, energetic. This class incorporates traditional yoga poses, breathing techniques, strength building, stretching and relaxation. This class is perfect for people who are looking to increase their fitness, strength & flexibility in a supportive, & fun environment. This class can be adapted for all fitness levels. Meditation with Angelique

Begin every Friday with Angelique in this relaxing one hour class. Includes:

  • 10 mins super gentle moving
  • 5 mins Pranayama (breathing technique)

Mat Pilates

Pilates Instructor, Gaby Shadforth, uses Joseph Pilates fundamental principles by focusing on spinal & core strengthening & stabilisation. Gotta love a strong core; it’s the basis of everything we do physically. In class, expect functional exercises to strengthen not only muscles but immobile joints, improve flexibility, posture & balance. Therapeutic Exercise – Techniques drawn from Qi Gong

Therapeutic Excercise is an integrated synthesis of Indian Yoga, Chinese Chi Gung & Western Pilates. It aims to teach the ancient Eastern arts of Yoga, ChiGung & modern Western physiotherapy inspired Pilates in a way that is both safe & fun.

This class is based on a carefully considered understanding of body mechanics from a Western anatomical & physiological point of view, including an understanding of the effects of frequently repeated movements on joint & neural tissue.
